Representatives from CCW/AFTEF attended the Listening and Learning About Early Learning meetings hosted by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The four meetings were held in Washington, D.C.; Denver; Orlando, Fla.; and Chicago.

The meetings focused on the following topics:
- Understanding Preschool - Grade 3 Structures;
- Workforce and Professional Development;
- Family Engagement; and
- Standards and Assessments.
