Fund for Child Care Excellence. Founded in 1999, FCCE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the quality, accessibility and affordability of child care in the greater Austin area. FCCE is focused on systematically addressing gaps in child care services in Central Texas.

Greater Houston Collaborative for Children (GHCC). Work to identify and develop model systems and strategies to improve the lives of Houston’s young children and their families. GHCC initiates several public/private partnerships to expand services for young children.

Texas Early Childhood Education Coalition A collaborative coalition geared toward improving access to quality early care and education programs by building new relationships between stakeholders and early care and education programs as well as educating public and private decision makers about the need for enhanced awareness of this issue throughout Texas.

Child Care Career Project A project of FCCE focused on teacher recruitment. The program is a centralized recruitment, screening, training and referral program for entry level child care staff.

Teacher TRAC (Training, Retention and Comprehension) Program. A program designed to assist child care professionals interested in obtaining their Child Development Associates Degree with financial assistance.
