Professional Development Opportunities

Oregon’s Childhood Care and Education Professional Development Registry (PDR). A voluntary statewide system to validate (or recognize) the professional achievements of people who work in childhood care and education settings in the state of Oregon.

Scholarship Programs

Oregon CARES (Compensation and Retention Encourage Stability) is intended to help build and reward a skilled and stable child care workforce throughout the state through wage stipends and scholarships.

The Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) Scholarship Program. Provides financial support to approved family child care providers, approved school age care providers, and approved staff of center based programs to pursue qualifying professional development.
