Professional Development Opportunities

Professional Development Initiative For Early Care and Education in Kansas (PDI).
A statewide initiative geared toward improve the quality of early care and education programs. The initiative has successfully designed and implemented a career development system for early care and education professionals.

Quality Training Incentive Project (QTIP).This project offers professional development opportunities to providers who work with infant and toddlers. Incentives are offered to child care providers who attend workshops.

Scholarship Programs

T.E.A.C.H. ® Early Childhood Program. Provides scholarships to early childhood professionals to obtain college credit towards earning a child development credential or college degree and increased compensation for the attainment of higher education.
