Professional Development Opportunities

Training Quality Assurance System (TQAS). A set of preliminary guidelines for trainers to include when planning trainings, workshops, or presentations designed to support and set standards for community based training opportunities.

Scholarship Programs

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Project. Provides scholarships to early childhood professionals to obtain college credit towards earning a child development credential or college degree and increased compensation for the attainment of higher education.

Tiered Reimbursement Rates

Hawaii pays higher reimbursement rates to child care centers and family child care programs that are accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA).
