Organizations/Coalitions

Florida Children’s Forum. A non-profit organization that provides leadership, program development, research, data collection and analysis, training, technical assistance and advocacy on behalf of children, families, child care providers and employers.

Professional Development Registry

Florida Child Care Training System. A web-based application used to track all of the state-mandated training for child care personnel in the state.

Scholarship Programs

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Project. Provides scholarships to early childhood professionals to obtain college credit towards earning a child development credential or college degree and increased compensation for the attainment of higher education.

Tiered Reimbursement Rates

Florida pays higher reimbursement rates to child care centers and family child care programs that are accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), Association for Christian School International (ASCI), National Accreditation Council for Early Childhood Professional Personnel and Program (NACECPP), National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC), National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and Florida Association for Child Care Management (FACCM).


Wage Incentives

Child Care W.A.G.E.$® Program. Provides education-based salary supplements to low paid teachers, directors and family child care providers working with children between the ages of 0-5.
