VT’s Registered Apprenticeship Program for Child Care. Brings formal education, support for on-the-job skills development and wage enhancements to eligible participants.

VT Children’s Forum. An alliance of advocates who work to improve the status of children and youth in Vermont. They were one of four organizations that organized the “Kids Are Priority One” Campaign.

Public/Private Partnerships

New Partners Study Vermont is one of the New England states involved in the NEW Partners Study, which is identifying gaps in the New England child care workforce. This initiative is funded through the Child Care Bureau in Washington, DC.

The State of VT's Child Care Services Division is offering a $1000 bonus paid upon receipt or renewal of national accreditation and/or credentials (NAEYC, NAFCC, NSACA, CDA, CCP, etc.) and upon receipt of college degrees in ECE or related field.
