Professional Development OpportunitiesOn-Line Child Care Learning To address the needs of providers in areas with limited or no access to on-going education, The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration-in partnership with Saint Mary of the Woods College, Ivy Tech State College, Head Start, IACCRR, Purdue Cooperative Extension Services, IAEYC, and the Indiana Child Care Fund-moved came together to develop the nation's first complete college credit Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in a Web-based learning environment. Provides scholarships to early childhood professionals to obtain college credit towards earning a child development credential or college degree and increased compensation for the attainment of higher education.
