On Worthy Wage Day, early childhood educators raised their voices through the halls of Congress and across the country!
On May 1, 2009, early childhood educators organized local events to recognize and honor the hard work of early childhood educators and staff and to draw attention to their low wages and minimal benefits. From hosting information sessions with parents to job shadowing with elected representatives, early childhood educators stood up as advocates and displayed their unified conviction for the early childhood workforce.
