As a member of the early childhood workforce, it is imperative to remain informed and active with local, state and federal public policy initiatives. We have experienced a great leap forward in recent years. Early childhood education is now more than ever at the forefront of policy initiatives at all levels of government.

However, we still have issues in early childhood education that need to be addressed and solved in order to truly improve the profession of early childhood education and to ensure that all children have the opportunity to receive a quality early childhood education. Our work is never complete!
